Anjali Shetty was born and raised in Mangaluru, on Karnataka's stunning Konkan coastline - a land where the Western Ghats cascade into the Arabian Sea, and where the air carries the mingled scents of jasmine and the ocean. It is a region of extraordinary cultural depth: the birthplace of Tulu Nadu's ancient traditions, the Yakshagana theatre form, and centuries of civilisational exchange along the Malabar coast.
She pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics at the prestigious NMAM Institute of Technology in Nitte, Udupi - graduating with a foundation in systems thinking and engineering rigour that would define her career. What followed was over fifteen years as a software professional, building expertise across enterprise systems, digital platforms, and technology startups.
A decade ago, Anjali made Singapore her home - drawn to its position as a nexus of commerce, culture, and innovation at the heart of Southeast Asia. Then came a deliberate pause: she stepped back from the professional world to raise her young family - and in that stillness found a clarity rarely available to those perpetually in motion.
Immersed in the layered cultural inheritance of the India–ASEAN corridor, Anjali saw something most platforms had entirely missed. Suvarnabhumi Networks is the answer to what she found - combining her engineering background, her experience scaling technology products, and a decade at the intersection of Indian and Southeast Asian cultures.
